In our studio we use traditional method of making jewelry, which means keeping as much hand work as possible. Various designs incorporate different skills, but always a lot of time and patience. That’s why each design in our collections produced in limited quantities, very detailed and each piece is unique and different one from another.
In our first collection we use a lot of traditional Indonesian chains, they all have different patterns and it takes Hours for masters to wave it. Each jewelry detail in the production requires a lot of steps before it becomes shiny and beautiful piece, such as:
- melting the metal,
- hammering it,
- casting it,
- soldering,
- polishing
- and the last step is setting stones.
Some of our designs with difficult organic shapes requires carving in jewelry wax first, then preparing rubber molds and only then casting it in metal. Each step of production is complex and very important, but most fascinating and valuable in this process are people who are behind the scene- Indonesian artisans, who make all this things happen, with their best method - MAKING THINGS WITH PASSION AND SMILE.
